Renegade's Traffic Improvement
 

Hello guys,

I'm come from Slovakia and I'm working right now on my own mod called Renegade's Traffic Improvement - all car types and colours in city and countryside.
I have a problem with countryside part because cops and gangsters AREN'T WALKING to Tommy, only standing in place or they're just shooting and hunting with cars.

I wrote on many forums but with no luck. Does anyone know how to set up it?
I don't know how to do... I tried many tricks with editors but with no luck as well.

Hello, this problem was discussed in the old version of this forum, but I can't remember the solution.
Maybe somebody else will answer to you.

Now is avaible complete version but with no police and gangsters in countryside so far.. that's the reason why I need help :)

Hello guys, I'd like to present you my relatively new mod.

This is second edition of my mod called Renegade's Traffic Improvement for Mafia I.

You must have a very good computer for this one.

First of all: This mod doesn't include any other mods from my videos except RTI (this mod) and Patcher.cfg/.asi.

The target of my work is probably ended for now. But your messages and comments are welcome Smile

The installation procedure:

1.) My mod is fully compatible with Steam, if it works with CD or GOG editions I really don't know (at 99% working).
2.) First, install game - set it up, download 4 gb patcher (use google Smile), find the game.exe file in main folder and press patch, then ok.
OPTIONAL IF THE GAME WILL BE CRASHING ON LOADING SCREEN: Find and download dgvoodoo wrapper on google (for best performance with additional libraries) and set it up. (Send me a message if you don't know how to do it).
3.) Use dataXtractor v1.1 for Mafia - ONLY OPEN AND CLOSE.
4.) In Mafia install folder have to be folders - MISSIONS AND SCRIPTS - this is THE MOST IMPORTANT
In missions folder are my improved freeride, freekrajina etc.
In scripts folder are patcher.cfg and patcher.asi.
5.) Copy content of Renegade's Traffic Improvement mod to your install directory of Mafia.
6.) It would be good that you setup the game with setup.exe (my Steam version have got 2x setup.exe).
7.) Antialiasing and anisotropic filtering are adjustable in dgvoodoo wrapper (directx tab), so don't find them on setup.exe, because there are off settings.
8.) Run the game, the mod should be working Smile

There are all colours, all car types (except prototypes) located in Lost Heaven.
Traffic density is drastically increased, but here-and-there are some empty places.
Mod contains also cops and gangsters in countryside, and Lassiter V16 Police in town Smile

Special thanks for MadMaxGamer from Romania (he sent me a lot of information for the basis of my mod)
Then Golod55 through spartaque12 (possibly from Russia) - they allowed me use Patcher.cfg/.asi to increase density to max and increase car colour/types variability.
Michal Fojtík, Michal Šafárik from Czechoslovakia x) - Czech and Slovak - they sent me also a lot of information, how to work in editors etc.
And Tomáš Růžička (Czechia) - This guy sent me the most important information which contained how to create movement of gangsters and cops AI with check.bin in countryside.

Possible bugs - The voice/music is off when you arrive in long tunnel in countryside.
Tom Angelo falls (with car) to infinity when he arrives to Works Quarter from countryside (sometimes).

I really don't know how to figure out this bugs...
