Hello guys,

I'm come from Slovakia and I'm working right now on my own mod called Renegade's Traffic Improvement - all car types and colours in city and countryside.
I have a problem with countryside part because cops and gangsters AREN'T WALKING to Tommy, only standing in place or they're just shooting and hunting with cars.

I wrote on many forums but with no luck. Does anyone know how to set up it?
I don't know how to do... I tried many tricks with editors but with no luck as well.

Maybe somebody else will answer to you.

Hello guys, I'd like to present you my relatively new mod.

This is second edition of my mod called Renegade's Traffic Improvement for Mafia I.

You must have a very good computer for this one.

First of all: This mod doesn't include any other mods from my videos except RTI (this mod) and Patcher.cfg/.asi.

The target of my work is probably ended for now. But your messages and comments are welcome Smile

The installation procedure:

1.) My mod is fully compatible with Steam, if it works with CD or GOG editions I really don't know (at 99% working).
2.) First, install game - set it up, download 4 gb patcher (use google Smile), find the game.exe file in main folder and press patch, then ok.
OPTIONAL IF THE GAME WILL BE CRASHING ON LOADING SCREEN: Find and download dgvoodoo wrapper on google (for best performance with additional libraries) and set it up. (Send me a message if you don't know how to do it).
3.) Use dataXtractor v1.1 for Mafia - ONLY OPEN AND CLOSE.
4.) In Mafia install folder have to be folders - MISSIONS AND SCRIPTS - this is THE MOST IMPORTANT
In missions folder are my improved freeride, freekrajina etc.
In scripts folder are patcher.cfg and patcher.asi.
5.) Copy content of Renegade's Traffic Improvement mod to your install directory of Mafia.
6.) It would be good that you setup the game with setup.exe (my Steam version have got 2x setup.exe).
7.) Antialiasing and anisotropic filtering are adjustable in dgvoodoo wrapper (directx tab), so don't find them on setup.exe, because there are off settings.
8.) Run the game, the mod should be working Smile

There are all colours, all car types (except prototypes) located in Lost Heaven.
Traffic density is drastically increased, but here-and-there are some empty places.
Mod contains also cops and gangsters in countryside, and Lassiter V16 Police in town Smile

Special thanks for MadMaxGamer from Romania (he sent me a lot of information for the basis of my mod)
Then Golod55 through spartaque12 (possibly from Russia) - they allowed me use Patcher.cfg/.asi to increase density to max and increase car colour/types variability.
Michal Fojtík, Michal Šafárik from Czechoslovakia x) - Czech and Slovak - they sent me also a lot of information, how to work in editors etc.
And Tomáš Růžička (Czechia) - This guy sent me the most important information which contained how to create movement of gangsters and cops AI with check.bin in countryside.

Possible bugs - The voice/music is off when you arrive in long tunnel in countryside.
Tom Angelo falls (with car) to infinity when he arrives to Works Quarter from countryside (sometimes).

I really don't know how to figure out this bugs...

I got one question about traffic density. I want to achieve a maximum density in freeride. If it's set as "patchtraffic density (-)100" it's good but not like I want... when it's set as more than 100 in game with mods are glitches and stuttering... It's any way how to do it like I want?

# Note that unless you enable PatchTrafficLimit, the maximum supported density is 100. Specifying values greater than 100 crashes the game.

Tosyk, hi there :), I wanna upload on my moddb-channel a new version which will be compatible only with vanilla mafia with no other mods. A target of this version is to add much more traffic to lost heaven, camera fix like in 2019 version and draw distance fix also like in 2019 edition. I'd ask how to increase the traffic density at max? I'm using scena2editor with russian language but it's ok I understand that informations, I'm asking because when I'm driving in the city here and there are "deaf places" with poor car traffic... I'm editing only scene2.bin files. Is it necessary to edit another files? like cache.bin or similar files? BTW I'm gonna upload that new files on july 24 central european time. So, it'll be available to download 2 versions of improvement mod - first 2019 edition and second one is vanilla edition. You can download my mod from moddb and add it on your site, I'm really thankful for that :).

Last question what i want to ask: Who is author of the widescreen fix in Remaster mod, please? I need that for my camera fix. I give author's name in credits of my mod. So I really hope it'll be possible to do it.

Guys I've got a question about any similar program to Mafia World Editor, 'cause I'd like to add cars (only from in-game cars) to the specific places in freeride, just like in my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWLn...6&index=8&t=1s

The MWE is too bad in my opinion, so therefore I'm looking for a new opportunities (some "new way" how to add cars in freeride).

RTI 2020 is a new version of my mod which was founded in june 2018.
My mod adds a custom improved traffic to Lost Heaven. In the game you can find all car types (except prototypes - only Phantom Corsair (Manta) is included) and in all colours. Some of cars appear less often (Red/Green Auburn Speedster 851, Red Mercedes-Benz 500K etc.).

I figured that my mod is working with Remaster Mod good when is NOT selected Real Car Facing 1.6.1, but Car Retexture. When is RCF 1.6.1 installed it causes a graphical bugs with textures in game.
As in RTI 2019 version will cars out/incoming from/in countryside - in China Town Exit, Works Quarter Tram Station and New Ark way on the Lost Heaven Airport.

I ain't authorized to send a link of working RTI mod with Remaster. But I can upload my custom "cars script" and another files and everything else is depending on your skills with editors (DCED e.g.). Also I can help you with this in comments or messages on ModDB.

RTI 2020 mod for default Mafia (Steam, GOG, CD etc.) will be available to download in section downloads on ModDB on my channel here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/mafia-renegades-mods

In near future I'll upload custom Real Car Brand Names 2020 mod and so as in version 2018 will include all car names in real life and also adjusted references about cars in the game - e.g. You can now steal Cadillac instead of Lassiter... or Go to steal Cadillac V16 Hartmann instead of ...V 16 Appolyon etc. That mod is available in czech and english language.

Also I could upload Camera and View Distance Fix mod, but in my opinion it needs some fixes cause a left and right side on a game display are not good displayed. You'll see it when you turn the character. I ain't able to improve it... So if you could help me I'll be very glad. :)

I'm in testing phase right now so download links will be available as soon as possible.
